Are you a Psychopath or Narcissist? Self test online.

A test checking for traits of the following personality disorders has just been put online:

  • Psychopathy / Antisocial Personality Disorder
  • Narcissistic Personality Disorder
  • Histrionic Personality Disorder

Even among professionals, there is confusion about the meanings and differences between psychopathy, sociopathy, antisocial and histrionic personality disorder, and much more so amongst persons who sense problems in their relation to others but need orientation on where these problems might derive from. This test tries to assist in checking for traits of each of these disorders separately and then giving separate results for each of them.

http://www.counseling-office.com/surveys/test_psychopathy.phtml

To achieve as accurate results as possible, this self-assessment combines screening methods based on the Hare Psychopathy Checklist (used in contemporary research and clinical practice to assess psychopathy) and clinical markers for narcissistic personalities and histrionic personality disorder according to the diagnostic manuals DSM-IV and ICD-10. The test thus has a relatively high potential to achieve reliable results even when done over the Internet – however, it has to be mentioned that particularly for the personality disorders tested, the quality of the result might be lower if the person doesn’t answer honestly or is delusional, both parameters that are actually potential traits of a psychopathic or antisocial personality.

WOW! – The fact that these tests are available online is potentially great news for the world at large…

It is HIGH time that the people gain opportunity to prevent mentally distorted “high achievers” from gaining positions of power.
– (Eg.s – Hitler, Gadaffi, Kim II-sung,… and countless other historical and current “leaders”, coporporate executives (the Enron crooks, Bernard Madoff…), politicians, lobbyists….

In my opinion, if properly implemented, this holds potential for the well intentioned masses (the 99%?) to take back control from those are simply unfit to weild power over others lives.

I believe that access to tools like this through the internet may yet be humanity’s salvation. Thank you for this important contribution !!!

Hello Sweetie Reply

I would have to disagree. In today’s world, a corporate one where only the best can survive, psychopathy is necessary. ASPD is an evolutionary way of survival. People with ASPD are not the problem – the world they live in is. Unless something changes, you will see more and more people like this. And cutting them out of society is not the answer.

Hello Sweetie Reply

If you literally are ‘happy’ about finding that out, you are not a psychopath. I would recommend doing some research instead of choosing a word that sounds dangerous and powerful, then deciding you must be a psychopath. Psychopaths are VERY clever and would not just rely on an online test. You are most likely a narcissist, if anything. You are not quite like everyone else and you do not get what you feel you deserve.

Jade Reply

I’d like to point out that just because you do a test on the Internet does not mean that you are suddenly a psychopath.
Btw Peter, when running a co-operation the best thing for you is to hire a psychopath. Just hope your not stupid enough to accidentally give them too much control x

Peter Reply

Reply to Jade – I don’t think anyone is “suddenly” a psychopath, but I do think that, (as with many mental or physical diseases/disorders), early diagnosis can be a huge factor in improving, or recovering from, the condition. If a person scores high on a self-test, then its likely a good idea to get a professional’s opinion, and likely some psychotherapy.

Also when running a corporation, it is clearly and definately NOT the best thing to hire a psychopath, (I speak from experience on this and 11 years later I’m still dealing with the legal aftermath, while the psychopath has long since “left the building” (and city) in search of new prey). Also psychopaths TAKE power, they don’t wait to be given it. But I’m certainly not “stupid enough” to involve myself with another one thanks.

Good people run good corporations – like the Bill Gates and Warren Buffet types of the world. Psychopaths tend to lie, cheat, steal and sometimes far worse. You can’t simply limit or control their actions like a dog on a tether.

I got high percentages with everything (except being Narcissistic),
and my lowest percentage was 66%.
Everything else was much higher.
Is this a troll test that tells EVERYONE that they’re Psychos, or what? Because I feel perfectly sane. 🙁

Hello Sweetie Reply

Psychopaths are sane. They are just…different from empaths. Psychopaths are like wolves while the rest of the world are sheep, just waiting to be preyed upon. This test is pointless though because only people who WANT to be psychopaths will pass (or people with other mental disorders that confuse them). A real psychopath would not need an online test, and a smart one wouldn’t let it end up on his search history.
Anyone can pass or fail a test. You just need to know the right answers and the choice is yours.

I took the test because I rather not be a pyschopath and in fact I’ve taken multiple test including clinical ones and sadly I get 100% everytime lol oh well life goes on huh? LOL

Eunoia Reply

This is a self-reporting test – surely, apart from aspects like crime, no evidence is available. Would a psychopath wish to be discovered? What do THEY get out of it (since the disorder is the belief that they deserve everything)?

I know MRI using emotional scenes will reliably show a BIG difference in certain areas of the brain. There MAY be tricks to avoid it (like wiggling ones toes in a lie-detector test) but who will find them and then, is it in their interest to make the information known?

Unless some great psychopathic dictator suddenly has a completely uncharacteristic mid-life crisis that brings him to take to internet testing in a drive to discover his true nature, is then ‘cured’ of his disorder and suddenly renounces his power… Erm… Yep, can’t quite see this net testing revolution taking place myself.

Have to say, questions 29 and 30 are very awkwardly written and as a result are nearly impossible to answer:
“The deviation mentioned in question #29 either feels completely justified to me – and when it doesn’t, it is anything else than easy for me to take another perspective or to adapt my behavior to fit in.”
That sentence just doesn’t work… ‘Either’ what?
This might make sense:
“…either feels completely justified to me OR, when it doesn’t, it isn’t easy for me to take another perspective or adapt my behavior to fit in.” That might be answerable.
Yes, I’m a narcissist 😉 …but I write too.

While I’m not even close, my exwife probably is and my current wife might be. She is entirely cold towards me now that she has what she wanted (a child so she can collect support in event of divorce) with viscious mood swings. Of course, when she was trying to win my affection in the early stage of the relationship she pretended to be warm and affectionate, typical manipulative behavior. Sound familiar guys? I am easily manipulated and am far too laid back which makes me an easy target for psychopaths. So it’s time to stay away from women in general I guess since every one I’ve met over the years mainpulates the hell out of me, all give (by me) and no take, little to nothing is given in return. Tired of bending over backwards for others happiness and getting tromped on. I no longer wonder why 50% or more of marriages fail now, too many sociopaths and psychopaths out there for the institution to succeed. It’s too bad so many kids, like my little girls, pay the price in the sense that they are raised in broken homes, torn between two homes, ‘bounced around’, generally don’t live as fulfilling a childhood as they could have if one of their parents wasn’t a sociopath. I wish there was a pee-test to take before marriage so the marriage license gets revoked if one or both of the people are psychopaths (because a verbal/written test like this can be manipulated by psycho’s, because manipulating is what they excel at).

I am in need of help! I was dating/married to a Narcissist for 27 years before he died. I didn’t even know what a Narcissist was then. I only just becamen aware of the definition of a narcissist by total accident. But realized that I was dating another one, so in my stupidity I thought I can handle it. But I was stupid for believing that. He basically played me right where he he wanted me, and as I realized with horror what he was doing, he smiled with glee. Because he knew that he had just pushedon’t me over the edge. And I did exactly what he wanted me to! Proved that he was telling everyone else the truth, that I am crazy! Everytime he has me come “meet” him on the job, or takes me out, another one of his lady friends show up. Mysteriouslyrics, & he disappears long enough for them to disappear. While on the job(his job), at the courthouse, at Cane’s the night he took me out for my birthday! And today was the finale and I didn’t have my script! So when I was lead, like a lamb to the slaughter, (Even though I knew it was most likely another one of his mind games!) I never expected what happened next! I pulled up to the park he was working in, as he showed me his work, and I said, You didn’t have to prove anything to me, I believe you. Then he walked me back to the car as one pulled in behind me, & another one pulled up in front of me, and there was another one already sitting at theach playground watching her daughter swinging. I realized I just got checkmatedone, and as he saw the horror that was probably replacing the trepidation & fear, I watched him smile as he watched my expression. But it didn’t end there, it went on with me pleading my case to someone whom I thought believed me realizing, again, too late, th a time he was ahead of me there as well. And the final nail in my coffin was, the one that I have seen around him frequently the last month or so show up to the fast food restaurant as I was on the toilet and she was in, out & gone while he was conveniently out of sight. For the 2nd,- 3rd time. And I lost, & I know it. Not even my own son would back me up!!!! So am I really insane? How do they do it?? And after my outburst, and accusations, as he denied everything questioning, how Amy of it was possible?? Then he came back to the old loved Self, like nothing ever happened and he was just comforting a small child who had a bad dream! I am handicapped, and have suffered from anow accident that almost took my life. I had severe blunt-force trauma, which is actually the one thing that plays in my favor. But I never wanted to be this person again. CO-Dependant. But I have no where else to go. And he knows it. So who can help me? I have tried so hard to get names and addresses to no avail. And I am afraid that may be lost. Help.

The results are as expected. I’m not a psychopath but suffer PTSD as a result of having worked for no less than 3 of them – all in the same organisation! All are excellent at covering their tracks until with hindsight you analyse their actions.
I’m told the problem arises from being raised by a psychopath. I had absolutely no idea their sort of behaviour was anything abnormal so was completely defenceless against behaviours others would have drawn the line at.
The sad thing for the psychopaths who caused the PTSD is they’re still at work & paying into the fund that pays my disability pension…

Hi
I have come to realise that I am indeed a woman who loves or rather is attracted and attracts Psychopaths or other guys with in the range of having now so called cluster B disorders. It is not my fault. I am far from stupid and although it seems to others that I am just a woman who enjoys being a door mat and makes the same stupid mistakes. I am far from these misconceptions. I have had to educate myself on the matter in order to save my life. The subject is vast and there is very little help in the UK for victims left devastated by these people who walk freely amongst us. It is very real, It is a massive problem as although there are different percentages the figure seems to now be afte muchr research around 3% of the population are, or have, Psychopathic tendencies. We will all encounter at least one during our life time.
Personally I feel that the word PSYCHOPATH has become jus far too uncomfortable for the medical profession to diagnose, as well as the general public to accept that they are NOT all serial killers.Due to Hitchcock well acclaimed and still today, regulaly broadcasted film, Psycho, the young and the old, still associate the word to nothing more or nothing less than a killer. This is in fact utter nonsense to those who have experienced the so called functioning Psychopaths whom are very ill individuals. As we know most illnesses vary from person to person and have different degrees and time scales of progression. Why? should Psychopathy be any different? why? confuse those who will potentially become a victim into still believing they are safe just because they haven’t had a fling with Ted Bundy or Ian Brady ? In other words and to put it simply a Psychopath is a Psychopath who lays somewhere along a wide sliding scale. In my experience there is one very sure and 100% thing tha does apply to each and every one of them no matter how high or low they are positioned on the scale. THEY WILL DESTROY MANY PEOPLES LIVES.THEY WILL ALL, LEAVE BEHIND THEM, WITH NO CARE IN THE WORLD, MANY, VERY HURT, VERY BEWILDERED AND VERY EMOTIONALLY DAMAGED AND TRAUMATISED PEOPLE.
I apologies for the caps I used as some people can find this intrusive, however I now feel it is time for us to all wake up to the fact that we are merely (it seems ) being confused if not mislead and definitely under educated by the medical profession. There are now ,it seems, so many other names ( or branches ) leading away from the real condition as no one it seems will take any responsibility to publicly voice that Psychopaths are quite simply Psychopaths and there are vast amounts of them out there..It is really quite that simple yet the subject is rarely discussed, acknowledged or talked about. It is a very common affliction in our society, and we as the human race, deserve the right to be educated now, and be fully prepared and taught how to help ourselves as potential victims who’s lives have been, and still will be, tainted, if not ruined. Psychopaths themselves also need some kind of support and understanding as many of them are confused, if not traumatised with there unexplained condition. In actual fact Psychopaths almost live in a bubble. They long for the everyday feelings and emotions we have, yet for some reason to them, they are unobtainable. They are very lonely people. Often living in isolation from society and often committing suicide when they realise there demise.
Yes, Psychopaths leave total devastation behind them. They know they do it, yet they cannot help doing it. They are confused at there condition, and can suffer even more, in there late 30s to early 40s when many reach what is now called ” burn out” This is the time that not only everyone around them, family, friends, lovers, children, etc.etc have quite simply had enough of there behaviour and have walked out of there life for good. The Psychopath ( my ex Psychopath admitted this ) has almost flashes of reality. And have had enough of themselves. They briefly see the devastation and destruction they have caused all through there life, which has left them with absolutely no one close or at hand in a big and for them, now very empty world. They realise just how alone in the world they are and there only form of getting any human contact is by literally targeting total strangers. These days dating sites are the most commonly used. My ex explained he craved the normal bonding that people have and experience. With each new woman or friend that he drew and manipulated to be part of his life he really thought ( this time it will be different ) but it never was as he very quickly hated these people for having the qualities that he desperately craved for, and could never possess. Inevitably the hatred got worse, with envy to boot and much more thrown in. The very person he once professed to love becomes his enemy who should be emotionally,( but, in reality) rarely, physically destroyed. And so begins there reign of terror on there now very despised victim. To see the victim totally crushed as a human being becomes there goal.
You may ask yourself after 3 relationships with Psychopaths why? is this woman also at times, defending them ?
I will try to briefly explain.
I was unaware such people existed. I believed in Good because I had experienced so much good in my life and I thought I also believed there was Evil, however when one experiences, and also sees, first hand a great big dollop of Evil being directed at them, only then can one really accept and begin to understand what Evil is and what it actually feels like. My first S,path I can now see looking back, was somewhat bottom of the scale. His lying was his base core affliction, then manipulation, littered by all the rest of the traits. I could not understand at the end of our 3 yrs together why? on earth I stayed. How could I ? a normal, intelligent woman stay so long with such a pathetic human being…Because he made me feel useless. He took all household D.I.Y chores away from me ( and get this ) It was my house. I began to believe I could not do it. Or even maintain my car, yet, I had achieved all this before on my own. before I met him. He was also very fat, he made me very fat too with junk food he bought on regular occasions because I worked full time and was the main provider and should not be cooking when im so tired? He loved to spend my money always coming out with plausible and confusing reasons for it. My confidence was getting chipped away at, and I was becoming very depressed. Then came his threats of suicide whenever I wanted out.I did finally get out ( long story ) but I was left, hurt, angry, confused, and people called me stupid for what I now have learnt as quite simply being a prime target and victim.
That was 10yrs ago. As the years ticked by I still carried so much anger towards this man, mainly because I had received no education in the matter. I was left with no answers to so many painful questions and therefore I was simply left with no real closure.
My 2nd Spath was 2 yrs ago. From a dating site. He lived local and I fell for him hook, line and sinker. I thought I had met my soul mate as many of us women do. He was what I now see as top of the scale. Very Dangerous. He had the looks, the charm, he seemed to know my very inner being, my soul .He was 6 foot 8.He was ( so I thought ) my very own gentle giant. After just 3 months this man became the monster. He put me through a terrible ordeal of emotional rape. He drained every little drop of energy I possessed and rapidly took away, my long time, gained self confidence. I lost my professional job of 16yrs, I had spent all my money on him and I was drinking very heavily. I became physically ill and at one point thought that I was actually going insane. How I survived is only through my desperation which lef met with just one very real option, and that was getting down on my knees and asking God to help me. I am not and never have been a religious woman, however I personally now believe I have some spirituality in my heart and in my life today. My take on God is private. I do not force it on others and I do not allow myself to be questioned or argued the subject. I have my own beliefs which I do believe to this day saved my life.
This wreck of a woman then started to study. By chance the word Psychopath came up and the Evil bastard in my midst ticked every box. I studied hard and I became very aware of his games. Although I managed to get him out of my home he moved into a flat 200 metres up the road and would keep popping by my home professing to of changed and then yet again, he would hurt me even more. As my knowledge of him grew, so did my power. I could in fact even foresee what he would do or was planning to do before he even did it. It was like playing emotional chess. I knew I had to once and for all get this Evil and very dangerous person out of my life for good. He sliced his own cheek open the first time I threatened to leave him and I was to later find out he had been in prison 3 times for threatening with a weapon. The first time was his own son and his sons mother.
I did, now seeing on hindsight a very stupid and very dangerous thing . I became one step ahead of him and literally played him at his own game to the point he would never be able to return and be a part of my life again. I had to get rid of him for good and at the time it seemed my only hope. I forgot one very important trait of the Psychopath…They always have to win. Life is a game to them. Hurting people is just a game to them. Loosing is just not an option in there eyes. He tried to attack me in my home and out of it. I had a panic button installed direct to the local police, however I fought back and pressed charges, got him evicted from my street and let him know enough was enough. However I spent a year constantly travelling and keeping no life routine. he has since been evicted from his home, attacked 2 other people so for now has moved on to fresher fields. He will try to come back one day though and of that I have no doubt. I keep a close eye over both shoulders but I will not and do not live in fear of him any more. I am aware he lost the game and at some point he will have to somehow win. This type of Psychopath can move on quickly and operates further on a much worse and higher level and when they hit a boring or low spot they then try to claw back there ex partners from years if not sometimes decades ago. The police asked if I thought he was capable of killing someone. I replied that I was very certain that one day he, in my opinion most definitely would. His temper was at times uncontrollable. I just now live in hope that he will pull a knife on himself and not me or anyone else.
The last and now very last S,path in my life was middle scale.
Very good looking, funny, extravert, addicted, selfish, lying, and a sponging dirt bag. I saw the warning signs early on due to my past experience and knowledge. He was very good at deception and twisting the truth. Also, he played a fabulous little boy lost routine and could weep at the drop of a hat. I admit I went back on the guilt trips he took me on twice, but I had to be certain who and what I was dealing with. His behaviour got rapidly and increasingly worse the more i stood up for myself. He blamed everything and everyone for the way he was and it all became very familiar ground for me. He professed that he may be Bi Polar and that was the reason he was like he was.I pretended to agree. A few days ago I told him I wanted to do an online test with him. He presumed it was to do with Bi Polar and agreed to answer honestly at what could be some difficult questions.
He was totally straight and lucid. And I know he answered all questions honestly as knowing him well each answer would of been the one I would of picked knowing his character. Of course at no time did I voice that or sway him from answering in his own way.
There were 42 questions in all. This test was developed from Dr Hares earlier studies. It is deemed to be very accurate and is used in prisons and institutions all over the world.
My S,path scored 85% a very high score and a certain indication I had yet been in the close company of another one. Except I spotted this one quickly. Thus minimal damage occurred. When I in fact told him what the test was for and how high he had scored he did not flinch. He showed no emotion and admitted very glibly that “yes” he is in fact a Psychopath. He is what’s known as a functioning Psychopath. Almost coming across as Passive aggressive however, again all the Spath traits were there but on varying degrees. It was a pleasure telling him to sling his hook and never return. It left him utterly shell shocked. This S,path though will not seek revenge. He is far too lazy and full of self importance to do that, he will simply move on to the next and the next and I will become almost a fictional character to him in time. he will just believe he agreed with me to placate me and his road of destruction will carry on as normal.
Its been quite a journey….lol….but I got through it. I laugh still a lot, I love my family and friends still with all my heart but most of all I have gained the knowledge that has enabled me to protect myself in the future.
BUT ????? It was all very well studying about these guys. Learning what makes them tick, There was one very big and important question I had left to ask….WHAT ABOUT ME ????
Because my only option was to learn and to teach myself about this terrible social problem. I have also had to somehow heal alone too. There was no help, no support and many people even close family did not either understand or even believe my experience, they tended to blame me. Call me stupid for getting into these situations which at times was so very hurtful, sometimes even more devastating than the experience its self. My Father being one of these people.
Finally, I have started to look at me. Putting others wants and needs before my own has been one of my long standing negative behaviours.
Someone’s seemingly great strengths’ can also, and very quickly become there greatest weakness.
I have had to admit my own traits of which there are many, one of them being that I am a thrill seeker,
I have a lot of studying and work to do on myself and to fully be able to understand Why? I attract and am attracted to these very sick men is now my personal mission. I have had to acknowledge that I have been a woman whom has loved Psychopaths.
I am hoping that in time I am able to put my experience and my knowledge to good use. to help other victims as well as educating people to avoid ever getting involved with Psychopaths in the first place.. Recognising signs and traits early on is of upmost importance. There are many ( red flags ) that are warning signs to stay well away. Helping others now is the only way that I can make my experience a worthwhile one.
I hope my article has helped someone out there in some way.
God Bless you all. God Bless all of those whom are left with the pain and the trauma that is plaguing our society.

Quiet frankly…the reason ppl do this test is not so they can self diagnose themselves a psychopaths. Atleast not deliberatley. I believe…which most ppl would agree…u have that doubt in the back of ur head that something is just a little “off” about you. Ive always felt more attractctive and unique than others. More special. Intelligent. Sophisticated. Envied…or atleast “envy-worthy”. Whatever. Nevertheless…could that be narcissism or just fact? Which is why I did the test. To conclude for myself what bothered me. I answered as truthfully as possible. 43 percent psychopath. Not a phycopath at all it says. Which I had no doubt. But it shows strong eveidence of a narrcistic disorder and historionic disorder. With these results…maybe I can look into these even more and sepf help myself. Who knows what I will do tbh. But…some comments posted say this test is bulls hit. Others say ppl do this because they want to be diagnosed as a psychopath…I believe it is a guide and I dicator this test and that ppl do this to find a bit of light.

Jilly Reply

I did this test, not because I think I have a problem (I don’t, and scored low), but because I have a close working relationship (and ex-sexual relationship) with someone who I believe does have a problem, and his behavior is very challenging at times, not just towards me, but also towards others. I re-took the test as if I was him, and scored high in all three areas. I had thought he only had psychopathic traits, and didn’t know about the other disorders before seeing this test. I would never have described him as histrionic or a narcissist, but the description really does fit. However, I think if he had taken the test himself, he would not have answered the same, as I’m convinced he does not recognize his own behavior. Is there an ‘objective’ survey for testing other people who demonstrate possible psychopathic / histrionic / narcissistic behavior?

r.l.fellner Reply

Hello Jilly, there can’t be an ‘objective’ test for these syndroms, as the syndrome itself is nothing ‘absolute’, nothing physical that more persons would describe in identical ways. If you as someone who has emotional feelings towards this person are doing the test ‘as if you were him’, the results would most likely be biased. I’d prefer to say that if you have issues with this person and if your relationship didn’t work out, that should be enough. It doesn’t need a ‘certificate’ that would label him as a psychopath or whatever the possible diagnosis (if done by a psychiatrist, psychologist or psychotherapist) he would receive if he were ready to find out more about himself. If both of you would want to continue with a relationship though and want to overcome the issues both of you had to deal with, it would probably be advisable to consult a couple therapist.

Best wishes,

I may have answered “fully applies” to 85% of these questions and “somewhat applies” to the rest, but the circumstances in which they “fully” or “somewhat” apply for me are not evil or malicious. In fact no one who has known me would view me in those ways. I feel like a lot of these traits are common in people. Being narcissitic is one thing, but being a psychopath because I find meaning in myself instead of interpersonal relationships is a bit reaching.

I found your online PCL-R to be very useful…I scored under 9, but do have non-specified personality character deficiencies, namely a co-dependent or dependent personality traits. And, yes, I was recently involved with a malignant narcissistic sociopathic borderline female who is an extremely toxic with her promiscuity, constant trouble with the law, as well as emotionally and physically. She once told me she score high online as being a “sociopath” despite trying to “fool the test.” Well, she is gone from my life and is still sitting in jail after recently recently battering me in my home. Should any person who stands for election to a high Federal political office,

President, Vice President
Senator, Congressman

be required to undergo a brain scan examination to verify the person is not a psychopath.

I think it is a reasonable requirement for these offices. I only wish it could be done retroactively.

Reading through this article reminds me of my previous roommate! He continually kept talking about this.
I’ll forward this article to him. Fairly certain he will have a great read. Thanks for sharing!

I already know I am a psychopath (diagnosed) however I took the test for shits and giggles, 100% factor 1, 94.4% factor 2. Not a shock lol. To the person that said they “sometimes” feel lack of emoathy towards the world, you are not a psycho. We completely lack empathy at all times. In regards to the person that said a true psycho would pass this test is 100% right. If i wanted I could score extremely low or even 0. These tets are easily manipulated and are subjective at best.

And 100% in other traits 😉

I have 87.5 % chance to have a factor 1 psychopathic or antisocial personality disorder and 55 % chance to have factor 2 , and by certain means the things said in the test really match up with what I think . But i’m not sure if i might have the disorder , should i get some medical assistance ?

I’ve been with partner for 11yrs and his memory of us r incredibly twisted his jealousy n controlled disruptions are not as affective as earlier in this relationship and I find myself completely confidence or hope that this hard mental abuse I’ve made mine and my kids life hasn’t going to have to end in hate because I’ve truly believed it was our struggle with drug addiction and our lack of committed parents and relationship role models please help me I love him and I know he loves me so much it makes insane continuing these same patterns we have girls and I need this to change for our future

No one, I repeat, no one should consider a self-administered online test as indicative of anything! A DIAGNOSIS, as in, legitimate characterization, can’t be done except in person. You all need to remember that this test is asking you to determine what’s so about you, and you are the absolute worst observer of your own behaviors.
These are fine for amusement, but please don’t make any decisions about whether you are or are not something based upon a self-administered questionnaire.

This is me!! I always wondered why I could never keep a man. Will I die a lonely old maid? I can’t believe I am really a Narcissistic Sociopath.

I’m not a psychopathic, narcissistic, or histrionic. in fact, I got zero percent. However, I got 80% general personality disorder, whatever that means. I answered truthfully, but if someone had the intention of getting a certain result it would be quite easy to get it. I don’t think I’m a psychopath. In fact, I’m a hundred percent certain, even before taking this test. I suspect my mother is a psychopath. That’s personal though.

I took this for fun cause I was watching a Ted Talk on youtube from Jon Ronson talking about strange answers to the Psychopath test. He talked about a man named Tony who faked a being crazy to get out of jail time. He faked it so well and was put in some fancy mental hospital. Jon was able to meet this man and speak to him. He was seemingly completely normal, but every normal thing he did the psychologists at the hospital said it was a reason he was crazy. When Jon discussed this with Tony’s doctor later they said they knew Tony faced his disorder, but from that, they determined he was a psychopath and that in faking that he was crazy he showed he was a psychopath. It was all very interesting. In it, something like, “It’s easy to convince people our crazy, but it’s a lot harder than to convince them you’re sane. ” But basically he mentions something about a psychopath spotter I in my mind I thought, Psychopath test that’d be interesting.

It was very easy to tell what answers were deemed “not normal” and which would be “normal” I’m fairly certain if I wanted to I could answer like a psychopath. I wondered if there was any way to get around this because if not this test is frankly unreliable and if you’re taking this test you should be able to tell by the way you’re answering if you’re a psychopath or not before getting the results.

But anyway, I went on a small tangent, all I know for certain is reading these comments out loud in funny accents at 2:30 am is not normal, but its a hell of a lot of fun. I even read a very long comment out loud in a (probably terrible) British accent by someone called laughing girl. It was practically a novel.

Was this comment relevant to anything at all? Nope. I just like typing useless things for strangers I’ll never meet to the internet. Get my thoughts down to the internet where they’ll be forever.

This test is not suitable for autistic people as they will answer ‘it applies’ to some of the answers, not because of the psychopathy or narcissism but because they are autistic! (i.e. not out of malice but because of neurological differences)

I can’t believe I scored in all of them and very high. Psychopathy, Narcissism and Histrionic. There is a 98 % that I’m a psychopath. That’s actually kind of awesome. I’m also in narcissistic, but it could mean that is part of the psychopathy. I scored 9 o 9. I knew I was crazy, but not this crazy. Of course this is a fun test. I don’t really take it seriously

90% chance of being a psychopath. The test I did with my therapist was a 98%. I like this result better.
